| Professor Pollock is an internationally acclaimed authority in the science and engineering of structural materials. She has contributed greatly to our understanding of materials fatigue processes and the interaction of ultra-short pulse lasers with materials. During her stay in Germany, she intends to explore data-based materials assessment. |
